I have been playing piano and viola as well as composing for 15 years. I am trained classically, however, I am well versed in many areas beyond classical music, such as jazz. I will center our lessons around the styles of music you want to learn, whether that is classical, jazz, rock, pop, or anything else! 

I have experience teaching private lessons across vastly different age groups. Our lessons will be personalized to what you want from music lessons. I create practice journals for my students that I update right after each lesson. Below are examples of what these supports look like. For children, the practice journals are meant to be read by the parents in case they want to gently facilitate with their child's practicing. 

Lastly, I will emphasize sustainable playing habits and healthy techniques, so as to avoid carpal tunnel. Even through online lessons, I will be able to correct any bad habits and ensure your physical health.
